Unfortunately, I didn’t have any social media scripture posts for this week! I try to keep the social media posts strictly to scriptures that will inspire us, uplift us, convict us, and speak to us. However, I do want to leave two scriptures that I found meaningful during this week’s yearly Bible study.
“There they saw the God of Israel. Under his feet there seemed to be a surface of brilliant blue lapis lazuli, as clear as the sky itself. And though these nobles of Israel gazed upon God, he did not destroy them. In fact, they ate a covenant meal, eating and drinking in his presence.”
“The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! Slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness. I lavish unfailing love to a thousands generations. I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But I do not excuse the guilty. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren; the entire family is affected — even children in the third and fourth generation.”
