Have you ever had a hard time finding the right key to get into a certain door? Perhaps you have 50 keys on your keychain that all look just alike and you have to try 15 different ones before you finally hit the jackpot. This has happened way too many times to me for sure. So, I decided to do something about it. Of course, the first place I look is PINTEREST. I found this pin – which I loved – but I didn’t want it to do this for OLD keys. I wanted it for my CURRENT keys.
- E6000 Glue
- Swarovski Flat Back crystals (I get these at Michaels!)
- Tweezers or Pliers
- Metal Stamps
- Magic Eraser
Stamp whatever you’d like your key to be for, fill it in with sharpie, let dry, wipe excess away with magic eraser.
Put your key ring on the key — do this before you put your crystals on!
Apply E6000 glue to the part you want to have crystals on it. I did this a little at a time because the glue dries relatively fast.
Add each crystal individually with either tweezers or jewelry pliers. I used different sizes for a vintage look + its easier to fit everything in!
Be sure to stop with plenty of room for your key to still be functional!!!
