Get FIT – Interval Training {Cardio Workout + Printable Download}

It is super challenging to get fit after having a baby.

NOT necessarily because of how much my body has changed since before I had Brooklynn {which, by the way, it has changed completely}, but because of time.

My sweet little princess is a mommy’s girl. She likes to be attached to my hip all the time and gets super offended when I put her down.

It completely melts my heart and I am enjoying every second of it because let’s face it, she’s only going to be this small once.

HOWEVER, it is hard to do some hard core cardio when there’s a baby attached to my hip.

There are super special days in which she will let me put her down for a very short amount of time. On those days, I use my time to get as quick of a workout in as humanly possible.

In a perfect world, I would run really really hard {like 8.0 mph} for as long as Brooklynn lets me so that I get in the maximum amount of cardio and calories burned in the shortest amount of time.

But the reality is, I cannot do that. I would be completely and utterly exhausted after about 2 minutes of running at 8.0 mph. Like sit-on-the-couch-the-rest-of-the-day exhausted.

The truth is, I’m not in any type of shape to run like that… yet.

SO – I have started to write down my super short cardio workouts -and- record how many miles it was, how long it took, and how many calories I burned during that workout. I am typing them up on 5.5 x 8.5 cards to stick in one of those super cute “mini” binders. That way, I can easily find a workout that I’ve already done before that will meet whatever goal I am trying to hit for that day.

I decided to share these with all of y’all. 🙂 Feel free to make yourself a notebook with my workouts + all of those SUPER AWESOME ones that you find on Pinterest so that you can have your own personal workout binder that will help you when you’re in a jam! 🙂
