TURBO movie

If there is one holiday movie release I am completely excited for, it is TURBO.  We saw this movie over the summer when it was in theaters and it quickly became a favorite of my entire family.  We are STILL saying one of our favorite lines from the movie— “That Snail is FAST!“.

Needless to say, November 12 cannot get here fast enough.  That’s the day that TURBO will release on Blu-Ray.

In case you aren’t familiar with this awesome movie from DreamWorks, let me give you a brief synopsis of the movie:

Cast: Ryan Reynolds, Paul Giamatti, Michael Pena, Luis Guzmán, Bill Hader, Richard Jenkins, Ken Jeong, Michelle Rodriguez, Maya Rudolph, Snoop Dogg, and Samuel L. Jackson

Turbo is a snail who dreams of being the greatest racer in the world. His obsession with speed has made him an oddity and outsider in the slow and cautious snail community. Turbo desperately wishes he could escape the slow-paced life he’s living, and he gets that chance after a freak accident leaves him with the power of incredible speed. The newly turbo-charged Turbo embarks on an extraordinary journey to achieve the impossible: racing against the best that the Indianapolis 500 has to offer. Joining Turbo is his dedicated pit crew of racing snails – a ragtag group of trash-talking adrenaline junkies tricked out with shells that look like mini-street racing cars. Turbo is the ultimate underdog who achieves the impossible by refusing to let his limitations get in the way of his dreams.

In celebration of the upcoming release, I am some fun printable downloads to share with all of you.  Click on each link to download and print the document.

I have not seen it yet! I wanted to take my little guys to see it in theaters, but we all got sick and ended up missing it :(

  2. Angela Freistroffer says:

Yes, we watched it last night for the first time. My son loved it so it would become part of his collection if I won.

My son and I absolutely LOVED the movie. The messages in it are amazing. Some would say it was a predictable story line, still, it was an inspirational one! Speaking of Dreamworks, I recently came across an online game for kids that was based on How to Train your Dragon (http://www.schoolofdragons.com). I was wondering if you do reviews of educational games or games for kids. Apart from all the crafts and printable resources you provide, I would love to hear your views on them. It would be so helpful to me and all my friends who read this site.

No one in our family has seen it yet. If I won, I’d share the movie with my kids and hubby.
