FREE Growing Up Online eBook Giveaway {+ Win The Lorax on Blu-Ray!}

disclosure generic review 4 The Lorax GIVEAWAY

Many, many times, Darren and I have talked about how different life is for Raileigh than it was when we were growing up.  Children these days are exposed to far more than we were as kids.

For example… technology.  Our world is driven by high-tech devices and children learn how to use them at a very young age.

Now, I am not bashing this at all.  While we do try to balance screen time with a variety of other activities, I know that technology has it’s place and is actually quite beneficial to learning.

That being said, I want Raileigh to be educated before interacting with technology.  There are a variety of things she could unknowingly stumble onto, and it’s best that she know how to handle these situations, even at the young age of five.

One issue that many children encounter on line is cyber-bullying.  With the growth of technology, mean-spirited people have simply found a new outlet for their cruel words.

The More You Know Learning Series, in collaboration with NBC News, addresses this new and dangerous trend, in addition to other online issues, with the launch of Growing Up Online, the FREE eBook for parents to keep their kids safe on the Internet! You and your family can now be prepared, clued-up and openly communicative about online issues big or small!

Our kids have never known a world without the Internet. They’re spending more and more time on the web, so teaching them about using technology responsibly and safely is critical.

This free eBook provides easy-to-use information that addresses the growing concern about kids’ online privacy and cyber-bullying in a unique and engaging way. Growing Up Online is packed with important tips that every parent should know!

You can download this FREE and extremely informational eBook in the app below.  Also, be sure to take in all four comic book stories as a family.  They are quite enjoyable and do a great job at presenting a tough topic on a level that kids can understand.

In addition to giving every single reader this amazing eBook, I have an awesome giveaway to share with you as well.  One lucky reader is going to win a copy of The Lorax on Blu-Ray and DVD!
