I am super excited that my family is going to be headed to the beach in the coming months. Yes– we skipped the over-crowded and busy summer season and instead will be making reservations in the fall.
I love, love , love going to the beach when the weather cools off. The crowds are significantly smaller, the sun isn’t roasting my pale skin to a lobsterized state, and the cool salty air is simply refreshing. To me, there’s nothing quite like sitting in the sand, wrapped in a sweater, taking in the pure natural beauty that only an oceanside view can provide.
We’re going to be staying at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, located on Florida’s Gulf Coast. It’s been years since I’ve been to the panhandle– long before I had a little one of my own. I am thrilled to be returning to a place that holds a lot of special childhood memories for me.
