Delicious Meals with Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar {Recipe Round-Up}

When Darren and I first got married, we cooked the same few meals over and over again– ranch chicken, chicken tacos, and spaghetti.  Occasionally, I would throw in hamburgers, but that’s about it.  I was completely uninspired in the kitchen and viewed preparing meals as quite the chore.

Every once in a while, I would try out a new recipe.  They would often come from outdated cooking magazines and would always turn out very badly.  These experiences turned me away from finding new things to cook in the kitchen, so we stuck to the same boring recipes we’d been eating for years.

Several years ago, something changed.  I’ve tried to pinpoint when it happened, and I honestly think it had to do with the introduction of Pinterest.  I’ve always enjoyed baking a variety of things and started using Pinterest as a springboard for cookies, cakes, and other tasty treats.  However, you can’t filter the desserts from the entrees, and I kept seeing these delicious meal ideas pop up.

So, I decided to give a few of these meal ideas a try.  It turns out that they were really good— far better than anything I had previously made in the kitchen {save the ranch chicken.  That meal will always be awesome}.  Every week, I found myself trying more and more new recipes– and almost every single one was classified as “a keeper”.

I became inspired.  Cooking gradually became something I enjoyed and I found myself spending hours thinking about all the new things I could cook for my family.  We started eating at home a lot more often because I grew a stockpile of recipes that we wanted to eat.

Now, cooking is a passion for me.  I experiment often, always looking for ways to make sure my family has a tasty and delicious meal to eat.  However, there are certain ingredients I keep on hand because I know that they will help me achieve stellar results time and time again.

One of those ingredients is Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar.  I first purchased this pantry staple at the beginning of last year.  I was impressed with the quality and flavor, so I have kept this product in my pantry ever since.

Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar begins with fine quality apples and crystal clear water. With its clean, mellow flavor, it’s ideal for your favorite salads, marinades and recipes. And Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar is guaranteed to have the full 5% acidity required for successful canning and pickling.

Now, if you’ve never used Apple Cider Vinegar before, you may be wondering what type of recipes it’s used in.  The short answer is– all kinds!  From desserts to salad dressings, there are many ways to incorporate Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar into your next meal.

  • Prevents flu and stomach issues
  • Helps relieve migraines
  • Breaks down fat

    The Zesty Grilled Chicken looks and sounds delicious. When I was younger, I cooked the same meals over and over, but I’m definitely up to trying to recipes now.
