From Bump To Baby: Knocked-Up Fitness {Review}

Being pregnant has been the most incredible experience for me. I absolutely love feeling my sweet little girl move and kick inside of me. Just the other day, I was laying on my side on my bed and baby Brooklynn was being a tiny ninja in my stomach. She was moving and kicking like a crazy woman. Then, she stopped, and pressed her foot against the side of my belly. I put my hand to where her foot was and I could feel the entire outline of her sweet little foot! It was absolutely precious.

Although I love moments in pregnancy like these, there have been struggles along the way as well. The biggest thing I have dealt with is the changes in my body. My arms and legs have uncontrollably gotten LARGER as my stomach grows. I picked up a cardio routine at the beginning of my second trimester. Although this has helped TREMENDOUSLY {a.k.a – I only gained about 5 pounds during my entire second trimester!}, I wanted something additional that would help tone my changing body.

I had never participated in Pilates prior to being pregnant. I had heard tremendous things about this type of exercise, however, I had simply never tried it for myself. I have had the incredible opportunity to try out the Knocked-Up Fitness Prenatal Pilates-Infused Workouts during this second trimester. I have absolutely fallen in LOVE with doing Pilates!
{Pictured Above} Here I am doing one of the arm workouts in the Knocked-Up Fitness DVD. I love this DVD for many reasons. For one, the workouts are extremely effective. After the workouts, I am exhausted! However — they are designed to be quick and effective. Each workout doesn’t last very long at all. I love this because I am a super busy person and I can quickly and efficiently give my arms, legs, and core the attention it deserves without completely interrupting my day.

My cat {Zax} gets SO intrigued when my husband or I sit on the floor. It is as though he thinks it is strange that we would be almost as short as him. When I was trying to do my first Pilates Arms workout, he was not only intrigued that I was sitting on the floor, he was also intrigued with the pretty yellow band that I used during the workout. He chased it back and forth as I moved my arms around.

When you purchase a Knocked-Up Prenatal Pilates-Infused Fitness DVD, you receive a yellow light-weight workout band to assist you in your workouts. I really appreciated that this band comes with the DVD because it makes preparing for my workouts so much easier.

As my pregnancy progresses, I am going to continue using the Knocked-Up Fitness Prenatal Pilates-Infused Workout DVD. I have seen improvements on my body ever since I started using this DVD.
