Wet Ones– My Go-To Product for Family Trips & Outdoor Fun

Disclosure: I participated in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Wet Ones. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

In just FOUR short days, we will be Disney World bound.  We’ve been counting down ever since the trip came about several months ago and it’s almost hard to believe departure time is upon us!

It’s been a particularly rough year for us thus far with several health issues, so this extended break to the most magical place on Earth is a welcome break before we head to Georgia to start our new life there.

A few months ago, Raileigh was diagnosed with a severe allergy to dust and dust mites.  My husband has became a regular at the chiropractor as we work diligently to regain the curve in his neck and back.  I have also had a few doctor visits, most likely brought on by the stress and anxiety of everything else that is going on.

Needless to say, all of the things we have gone through this year have made me more conscious than ever about the health of my family.  Not just things that relate to our specific problems… but our health in general.

Maybe that’s why I love Wet Ones so very much.

I used to walk by Wet Ones in the store, very rarely giving these antibacterial wipes a second glance.  Now, I constantly have a can in my car, a travel pack in my purse, and extra single Wet Ones wipes packages in various other places.  In short– you won’t often find me without a Wet Ones wipe nearby!

So… why am I so smitten with Wet Ones?  Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes kill 99.9% of bacteria on hands, making them a great choice when soap and water is not available.  In truth, they are a great option even when soap and water is available simply because they are so easy and convenient to use.  The active ingredient in Wet Ones is Benzethonium Chloride 0.3%, which is used as an antibacterial agent to decrease bacteria on skin.

As I have been packing for our vacation, I made sure to include several packages of Wet Ones.  The 40 Count Canister fits perfectly in the cupholder on Raileigh’s car seat and makes to clean her hands before or after snacking.  I have several travel packages of Wet Ones to go in the backpack we’ll be taking inside the parks.  I know that Disney World is a relatively clean place, but with that many people, there is bound to be germs.  I also have some of the singles to shove into my purse or Darren’s pockets if we’ll be attending an event without a backpack.

After we return home, I have plans to continue our usage of Wet Ones.  The weather is absolutely gorgeous and I know we’ll be spending a lot of time outside.I foresee many opportunities to bring out the Wet Ones:

  • Before enjoying a picnic, after a long morning of playing at the park
  • After working in the yard or planting flowers
  • Before enjoying our treat from the ice cream truck
  • For sand-covered hands at the beach or lake
  • Before {and after!} eating a snack while hiking in the woods
  • After enjoying some of the popular Atlanta attractions
  • … and many, many more!

As your family gets ready to take trips and spend more time outdoors, I encourage you to bring along your own package of Wet Ones.  You don’t want germs to ruin the fun, and Wet Ones can help to keep them away.
