Raileigh is infatuated with dyeing eggs. I am certain that she has been requesting that we dye eggs since well before Valentine’s Day.
I like to try a variety of egg dyeing techniques with her. Though the egg dye kits are simple to use, we really enjoy trying out new ways to turn our eggs beautiful colors.
Perhaps that is why I am so excited about the Natural Egg Dyeing classes that are being offered at Atlanta Botanical Garden.
It turns out that certain plants create powerful dyes and stunning colors. Atlanta Botanical Garden is no stranger to plants such as these!
In this class, children will have the opportunity to learn more about the plants and then use them to dye Easter eggs!
This is an educational, yet fun opportunity for your entire family.
No advance registration is required.
So make the most of this beautiful weather and visit Atlanta Botanical Garden. You can take in all the sights and smells of the garden in spring and give your child a unique opportunity to dye eggs like never before.
Disclosure: I received no compensation for this post. I just love the idea of this event, and hope it’s something you’ll consider taking your family to!
