I declared that 2013 is MY year– the year I will get into the absolute best shape of my life.
I am getting there. Admittedly, it is a bit slower progress than I had hoped for, but there is progress. Part of this is discovering my strengths and weaknesses, as well as which fitness routines and products work best for me.
Recently, I was introduced to an awesome piece of equipment that really has the ability to enhance any workout that I do.

This tiny little device is packed full of powerful features. It’s actually a wireless activity and sleep tracker all rolled up into one convenient product. This device never rests. During the day, it tracks steps, distance, calories burned, and stairs climbed. Come nightfall, it measures your sleep cycle, helps you learn how to sleep better, and wakes you in the morning.
All of this data is seamlessly and wirelessly uploaded via computer or select mobile devices. These stats can assist you in getting a better night’s sleep and meeting your fitness goals.
I really love how tiny the FitBit One is! It easily clips onto your pants or belt, or can even be slid into your pocket. It has a rechargeable battery that lasts five full days before needing another boost. Plus, it’s rain, splash, and sweat proof, meaning that it will always work for you.
Now, my favorite part of the FitBit One– the badges. Yes, I am a gold star kind of girl. I give myself a little Disney Princess sticker on my calendar each day I work out. Needless to say, I find these badges quite motivating. You get them for things such as taking 25,000 steps per day or climbing 100 stairs. There are daily, weekly, and even lifetime achievements.
