InGenuity Deluxe Washable Play Yard {Review} {Giveaway?}

If you have kids, you know how messy life can get.  And I mean:  messy.  They some how manage to get something on everything!  When Jude was born, we were so excited we were having a boy because we knew we could use all of Anakin’s old stuff.  What we didn’t realize was that all of his old stuff was disgusting.  I cleaned and cleaned and couldn’t get the stains out of everything.  Lots of clothing that I swore was clean when I packed it away, somehow got unpacked with stains on it.  We took the pieces of the crib out of storage and ended up having to buy a whole new crib because it was awful.  The crib was in pretty bad shape but the pack-and-play was even worse.  What’s more, is that the one we had didn’t have a detachable cover, so I couldn’t even thoroughly wash it.

I’m so glad to have been introduced to the InGenuity Deluxe Washable Play Yard!  I only wish I’d had it sooner!  Everything is so easy to pull apart and clean.  The changing table attachment is nice and deep so baby doesn’t roll off of it and the material is water-proof and super easy to wipe down between washes.  All of the fabrics zip right off the frame so they can be tossed in the washer and zip right back on after they are dried!

My favorite feature is the insert that goes in the bottom of the play yard.  It’s super soft and is padded very well.  And of course, the cover comes right off and can be stuck in the washer, too!  We go home to Kentucky every Thanksgiving and we have to put Jude in a portable crib to sleep in and I wish I’d had this six months ago!  I can’t wait to let him sleep in it for more than a few hours at a time when we go home again next month!

I also would have loved the bassinet feature when he was first born.  It’s so soft!  I’ve let him lay in it now a few times just to rest but he is quickly outgrowing it.  I’m so happy to have this in my living room so we have another space for Jude to play, rest, and get changed that can be accessed and cleaned so easily.

And of course, InGenuity didn’t know me when they designed this, but clearly I was meant to have this playard since we designed Jude’s nursery around safari animals.  The designs on this pattern are so adorable!
