Tasty Valentine's Treats from See's Candies {Review}
Sweets are my weakness... especially chocolates. In fact, my entire family enjoys munching on tasty sweet treats. As part of a healthy diet, we do enjoy them in moderation, and frequently share with friends and Darren's co-workers.
Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and it's the perfect occasion to enjoy some sweet treats with those you love the most. On this day of love, my family and I will be treating ourselves to some delicious candy from See's Candies.
See's Candies has been around for over 90 years, and is only made from the freshest and finest ingredients. There are absolutely no preservatives in this American-made candy-- only quality that you can taste in each and every bite.
I selected several items from See's, trying to choose things specifically for each member of my family. In the end, we wound up with a wonderful assortment of sweets that is absolutely delectable.
Before I tell you what we chose, let me take a moment to comment on the shipping and packaging. I was impressed with both the speed of shipping as well as the care taken to ensure that everything arrived in tact and ready to gift or eat. We have encountered exactly zero broken candies, which I think speaks volumes to the shipping process and materials.
For Raileigh, I chose a special Valentine's Day Puppy Box. I knew that she would absolutely love this child-friendly gift. The box is truly a great value, full of chocolate hearts, sugar sticks, and lollypops. It's more candy than she needs, truthfully, and she's been munching away on it for a few weeks now.
She especially loves the chocolate hearts, and often asks to eat one after dinner.
We were so smitten with the hearts, that we actually got an entire bag of them! There are over 25 milk chocolate hearts included in one bag, so it's plenty for all of us. The hearts come wrapped in shiny red foil and are contained in a sealed plastic bag, tied with a red festive ribbon.
These hearts are great for a candy dish or as a sweet addition to a Valentine's Day card.
We also received the Sour Hearts- an 8 oz. bag of pure sour deliciousness! We are all fans of sour candies, so I was anxious to see See's take on them. Wow-- are these candies good! In fact, I may have a new favorite sour candy!
The jelly candies are coated in sugar and bursting with cherry, lemon, and berry flavors. This is another great candy dish option.
Darren really likes mint and chocolate, so I chose the assorted peppermints for him. Half of these peppermint creams are covered in milk chocolate. The rest are dark chocolate. Darren said they were rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious.
He took the box to work the day after they arrived. Let me just say that the peppermints didn't last through the day. He and his co-workers definitely did enjoy them, though!
Lastly, I chose a box of Milk Butterchews because I knew this was something my entire family would enjoy. The box came wrapped in festive Valentine's paper, which was a happy, unexpected surprise. The box was filled with 24 rich milk chocolate covered brown sugar caramels.
To say these candies are good would be an understatement. They are just so smooth and creamy, and completely irresistible!
My entire family has been impressed with every aspect of See's Candies. With quality ingredients that can truly be tasted in each bite at an exceptional value, you cannot go wrong.
This Valentine's Day, I encourage you to get some sweets for your sweetie-- See's Candies, to be exact. Their delectable chocolates and confections are sure to capture their heart.
Disclosure: I received no monetary compensation for this post. I received a complimentary assortment of sweets for the purposes of this review. All opinions are my own.

We really like See's candies. In fact, I got my parents and husband's parents some candy for Christmas! I think I'm going to drop 'hints' to my hubs for me this time! I LOVE chocolate and peppermint so I'd like to try the assorted mints.
