I Am Excited to Announce… I am a WET ONES Ambassador!

If you are a mom, then there is a good chance that you are familiar with Wet Ones.  These convenient and effective antibacterial hand wipes are a staple of childhood, as they make it easier than ever to clean up those inevitable messes.

I am very excited to tell you that I will be serving as a Wet Ones Ambassador for the next year.  During this time, I hope to share with you everything that you could ever want to know about Wet Ones,  including how my family uses them in our daily life.

First, just in case you aren’t familiar with Wet Ones, let me tell you a little more about these wipes.  Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes kill 99.9% of bacteria on hands, making them a great choice when soap and water is not available.  In truth, they are a great option even when soap and water is available simply because they are so easy and convenient to use.  The active ingredient in Wet Ones is Benzethonium Chloride 0.3%, which is used as an antibacterial agent to decrease bacteria on skin.

Though Wet Ones contain alcohol, they are not alcohol based.  This means that you don’t have to worry about your skin drying out from using them.  Both the original and Sensitive Skin hand wipes come in three convenient sizes.  Wet Ones also makes Big Ones hand wipes {which come in one size} and personal hygiene wipes {which come in two sizes}.

In the past, my family has generally used the Original Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes.  These wipes comes in both the Fresh and Citrus scents.  Both smell delightful, though I prefer the fresh and my husband prefers the citrus.  Raileigh doesn’t care either way– she loves them both!

I like to keep Wet Ones handy all of the time.  The 40 count canister is ideal for the car, and actually fits down inside most cupholders,  The wipes pull up easily through the loop opening inside the canister, making it easy to hand Raileigh one if her hands are sticky from a snack or she spills her drink.

However, the Wet Ones product that we tend to use the most is the 15 count travel pack.  This pack fits conveniently inside my purse and I can pull them out at anytime we need to clean our hands:

  • After soccer practice or gymnastics
  • Before {and after!} eating a snack while hiking in the woods
  • After enjoying playground time
  • After handling money
  • For sand-covered hands at the beach
  • After touching shopping cart handles

Basically, Wet Ones are nice to have around anytime you find yourself in a dirty or sticky situation!

Recently, I found Wet Ones to be invaluable on our trip to Disney World.  We spent much of the day riding various rides and meeting characters.  When we sat down to eat a meal or snack, there is no doubt our hands were covered in germs.  It was much easier to pull out Wet Ones than find a bathroom, potentially wait in line, and touch the germ-filled door handles and faucets to wash our hands.

I look forward to serving you as a Wet Ones Ambassador over the next year, and sharing all the many benefits and uses for these handy antibacterial wipes.

Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in an Ambassador Program for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Wet Ones. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
