Burlap curtains are easy to make and add an incredible touch to a “rustic” look. My mom simply cut the burlap double the width of the window. Then, she folded down the top part of the burlap and sewed a simple stitch straight across about 3 inches from the top. She threaded the burlap curtains on the curtain rod and made sure the ruffles were equally spaced apart.
After the wedding, we did not take the curtains down. They looked so good in the barn that we wanted them to have a permanent home there.
