Reading A Wocket in My Pocket is an absolutely delightful experience to me! Dr. Seuss has spun the words together in such a fun way that I cannot help but love.

Recently, Oceanhouse Media took this classic children's book and turned it into an omBook that can easily be enjoyed anywhere, anytime. That's right-- A Wocket In My Pocket is now available in the App Store, as well as the Android Market.

Just in case it's been a while or you aren't familiar at all with this wonderfully fun story, let me tell you a bit about it.

The story takes you around a young boys house, which he shares with a plethora of interesting creatures:

"I like the ZABLE on the TABLE.
And the GHAIR under the CHAIR
But that BOFA
on the SOFA . . .
Well, I wish he wasn't there."

It's fun, lighthearted, and full of imagination.

Oceanhouse Media has taken this rhyming tale and added elements that make it a perfect book to enjoy in digital form.

  • Individual words are highlighted as read-- perfect for young children starting to learn to read
  • Professional Narration
  • Background Audio
  • Picture / Word association — words zoom up and are spoken when pictures are touched
  • Pages pan and zoom to highlight the original artwork
This Oceanhouse Media Digital Book can be enjoyed in three ways-- Read It To Me, Read It Myself, and Auto Play. As much as I enjoy reading A Wocket In My Pocket, we often use the auto play feature. This allows Raileigh to enjoy the book when I am not available to read to her-- such as in the car or when I am trying to prepare dinner.

This omBook is incredibly well done, and the perfect addition to your digital library.

What are you waiting for? Head on over to the App Store or Android Market and pick up your copy today!
