Are you one of the MANY Americans that love sandwiches? Sandwiches are somethings that many people enjoy at all times of the day. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can mostly likely find someone chowing down on this American favorite.
Recently, Hellmann’s launched a State of the Sandwich survey. Here is what they learned:
- 84% of American sandwich eaters believe that HOW a sandwich is made is just as important as the ingredients
- Hellmann’s Mayonnaise is a must-have sandwich ingredient
To celebrate this passion that Americans seem to have for the actual construction and building of the sandwich, Hellmann’s has partnered with Best Foods and Chef Bobby Flay to show families how to make real, simple, delicious sandwiches.
They want to know how YOU stack it, slice it, serve it, and spread it.
Do you put mayonnaise on both slices of bread?
Does cheese go on top of the sandwich or in the middle?
To participate, just stop by the Hellmann’s Facebook page. Here, you can share your tips, tricks, and secrets, as well as read those submitted by others.
You can also enter the Hellmann’s Build Your Perfect Sandwich Sweepstakes. This contest gives you the chance to show of one of your delicious creations and win grocery gift cards, kitchen essentials, and products from Hellmann’s and Best Foods.
So, I’m curious– what goes into YOUR favorite sandwich?
I’ll tell you mine. It’s a BLT.
I make it like this:
Take one bagel (preferably Thomas Original) and split it in half. Lightly butter both sides. Toast in the toaster oven until slightly brown. Add (in this order) three thin slices of tomato, 2 pieces of cooked bacon broken in half, and a couple of pieces of lettuce. Pure deliciousness!
Disclosure: I was entered for a chance to win a Hellmann’s® prize package in exchange for this post. No monetary exchange took place.
