PROUD To Be a State Leader for B Kind 2 Earth Day

On April 22, 2011, we will celebrate Earth Day. In all honesty, we should be celebrating Earth Day every day. I know that many of us, myself included, are making small changes all the time that have a positive impact on Mother Earth.

This year, I am serving as a team leader for B Kind 2 Earth Day. This is a cooperative mission to help put Mother Earth back into Earth Day.

Through this initiative, bloggers such as myself want to help you see Earth Day in a whole new light. We’ll be sharing ideas to help you make a difference this Earth Day. It can be big or small because every act of kindness to our Earth is truly important.

To get started, you can visit the B Kind 2 Earth Day Facebook page and pledge to make a difference this Earth Day. We are trying to get AT LEAST 75 people from every state to commit to this, so please tell your friends.

Also, be sure to check out the B Kind 2 Earth Day State Leaders so that you’ll know where to stop and look for great ways to make a difference this Earth Day.

I look forward to sharing my ideas with you!

    Hi Desiree,

I am the editor of National Wildlife Federation’s Be Out There campaign, which aims to get kids and parents excited about getting outside and unplugged. Just wanted to send a quick note to say a heart-felt (yet belated) thank you for being a state team leader with the B Kind 2 Earth day campaign last month!

We were so inspired by all the amazing ideas and fun conversations that came out of the campaign, which was designed by our dear friends Cooper Munroe and Emily McKhann.

As the weather warms up all across the country, my coworkers and I are getting ready for The Great American Backyard Campout. Let us know if you want to get involved and be one of our team leaders for this event.

Just email me by May 31 at keismana@nwf.org and we can discuss how we could collaborate.

    Moms rock!!

    Best,

    Anne Keisman
