Raileigh is growing so fast! If you have kids, I am sure you can relate to that! Just since the beginning of September, she has grown several inches. Her clothes are outgrown so quickly, that I hate to spend a lot on any one garment. However, I still have standards as to the quality and appearance I expect for her clothes.
Luckily, thanks to Cookie's- The Kids Department Store, I can have my low prices without sacrificing quality or style. Cookie's carries name brand clothing for children of all ages at rock bottom prices. Though they operate several stores in the NYC area, I became familiar with Cookie's as an online retailer.
Their site is well organized and stocked to the brim with thousands of clothing options in every size range. Raileigh is currently in the 2T- 4T range. There are pages of shoes, jackets, tops, and everything in between. Check out a few of my current favorite bargains.
Hello Kitty "Cat on the Hat" Hat & Glove Set- $5.99
As you can see, these savings are REAL! You just don't come across bargains like these often, and Cookie's offers them each and every day. We had the pleasure of testing out some of the amazing clothing that is carried at Cookie's. Here is a sneak peek at some of the newest additions to Raileigh's wardrobe.
About the Boots (as taken from the Cookie's website)
These Laura Ashley boots are a lovely winter look. Made of supple faux suede, they feature ruffles at the cuff, a bow accent, and a side zipper for easy access. The non-slip tread on the sole is great for clomping through the snow.
Our Thoughts
With winter coming up, I knew that Raileigh needed a good, sturdy pair of black boots. I have looked around in local stores for the perfect pair. However, there is something I don't like about each pair, or the price is just way too high. At $19.99, I feel that these boots are a steal! Laura Ashley is a name brand I have heard many good things about, and the price is cheaper than boots I have seen at discount department stores.
When the boots arrived, I loved them even more in person. The outer faux suede feels so soft to the touch. That, paired with the beautiful side bow, make these boots the perfect choice for winter and holiday wear. Of course, I had Raileigh try them in right away. They fit very true to size. They also must be quite comfortable because she wore them around for some time.
Since then, the boots have been worn many times, including to the Thanksgiving Program at preschool. We received several compliments on her boots. After all, this is one adorable pair of shoes! I am also happy to report that the boots are holiday up well. After several wears by a rough toddler, they still look great!
Nike Cable Knit Beanie and Gloves

This 2-piece set from Nike offers a fashionable fix for chilly ears and fingers. The beanie has cable knitting, a subtle embroidered Swoosh, and a pom pom on top. My husband loves athletic and active wear (most likely because he has been in the industry for around 8 years!). When we were expecting Raileigh, he got her little Nike pants and a little Nike beanie. She wore that little white and pink striped beanie until we couldn't get it on her head anymore.
Now, I have seen that many pieces of Nike apparel cost way more than I want to spend for a toddler. She is just too rough and grows too fast for me to justify the cost. However, thanks to Cookie's, I don't feel bad about adding some Nike back into her wardrobe. This beautiful hat and glove set, which retails for $20, is just $7.99 at Cookie's! That is definitely more within my price range!
The set is adorable as well. I think this is perhaps Raileigh's favorite thing that we received from Cookie's. In fact, for several days after it arrived, she wore both the hat and gloves all around inside the house. She even ate while wearing the hat!
The bright color, silver embroidered "swoosh", and pom-pom on top of the hat make this such a fun accessory set. Plus, even after all the love from Raileigh, the hat and gloves are holding up quite well. It may be silly, but having such a cute hat and gloves set makes going out in the cold a whole lot more fun!

First of all, the color is so vibrant and fun. It really matches Raileigh's personality. I also love the jeweled snaps. They add such a special little extra touch, and actually are a great tool to help Raileigh learn to dress herself. The rouching on the sides looks amazing. I know you can see it in the pictures, but in person it really looks even better!
My favorite detail is one that you can't even see. Across the back, from shoulder blade to shoulder blade, is this beautiful intricate embroidered design. It looks great and adds a little edgy touch to the shirt, which I really love.
The shirt fits Raileigh well, but still allows room for her to grow. Thankfully, this hopefully means that we will be able to wear this 3/4 sleeve length shirt through spring as well. It pairs great with jeans, but can also be worn with a skirt or capris, depending on the weather.

Made of a polyester/ rayon mix, this top is very soft to the touch. It features rouched sleeves, and rhinestones all along the neckline.
Our Thoughts
I like solid, basic tees. They are great for those skirts that nothing goes with or just for a day when you desire a simpler look. I love that this tee is like a basic top with a little extra. The rhinestones around the neckline add that special little touch, as do the rouched sleeves. They jazz the shirt up from a boring blue top to something with a little glam!
This is seriously one of the softest tees that Raileigh owns. It feels so good against the skin. It is also lightweight and not bulky, which means that I can easily layer the shirt without weighing Raileigh down. I got it a bit big for this reason, and also so that she can hopefully wear it for a long time!
I am sorry for you all that this item is not in stock any longer. At just $4.99, it truly is a great bargain!

I have been wanting some leggings for Raileigh that have the look of a sweater. However, all of the ones that I have came across cost way more than I want to spend. So, when I saw the cable knit leggings from Liquid Gold for just $5.99, I was pretty intrigued. The leggings come in many colors, but I was most excited about Vanilla. i don't know about you, but I have a very tough time finding white and off-white leggings for Raileigh.
These leggings are perfect for winter look. They look adorable paired under several of Raileigh's skirts. They are soft and comfortable as well. I love the length of the leggings. They do down all the way to right at Raileigh's ankles, which is ideal in cold weather. We have paired the leggings with boots on several occasions and I just love how that looks!
