Now that Raileigh has enough hair for some bows and clippies, she absolutely loves wearing them. In fact, there are times when she will ask me to put two or three in her hair at once!
So, when the new online designer, Polka Dottie Ottie, contacted me about reviewing her hair accessories, I jumped at the chance. I knew that Raileigh would be thrilled to have something new for her hair!
Silvia, the sweet lady behind these darling designs, sent me a few ideas of things she could create for Raileigh. One thing in particular stood out- a Dora fabric flower! Raileigh is a wee bit obsessed with this cute Spanish girl, so I knew she'd flip for anything with Dora on it. Silvia hadn't mounted the flower on anything yet, so I chose an alligator clip so that Raileigh could wear it in her hair.
The clip was shipped incredibly fast, and arrived in some of the cutest packaging I have seen. Silvia had drawn an adorable scene on the recycled box (yeah for being green!). It sure put a smile on my face when we opened up our mailbox! The contents were just as adorable. The bow was packaged up in a cute little cellophane bag. It was all almost too cute to open!
Raileigh wanted her new Dora flower in her hair the moment she saw it! So, I slid the secure clippie easily into Raileigh's fine hair. It's definitely larger than the clips that Raileigh normally wears, but she actually did quite well with it. The first day, though, she kept taking it out to look at the Dora embellishment in the center of the flower! I was just glad that the clip slid so easily and didn't yank out a handful of hair when Raileigh tugged on it!
Silvia hand makes everything in her shop, and she really does a fabulous job. Raileigh has pulled and tugged at this flower hair accessory more times than I can count, but it's still going strong. No signs of wear or damage at all. It is great to have a hair accessory that is this durable!
