Review & Giveaway: Planet Wise Wet/ Dry Bag- CLOSED

Raileigh is like a little fish. She loves to be in the water! This means that we have made several trips to the pool this summer so that she could cool off and start to learn some basic swimming skills. When we get done at the pool for the day, I never know what to do with Raileigh’s wet swimsuit. Sometimes I remember to take a plastic grocery sack and I’ll put the suit in that. However, it usually leaks and in turn gets everything else wet.

Recently, though, I came across the perfect solution for our wet bathing suit dilemma- the wet/dry bag from Planet Wise!

This unique bag actually allows us to carry our wet and dry items in the same bag. The bag is made up of two separate compartments- one section for dry/ unused items and one section for wet/ dirty items. The section for the wet items is lined with a PVC free waterproof layer. It is sewn and sealed so there is no wicking and no leaking. So, the items in the dry section have absolutely zero contact with the wet items, and are able to stay completely dry.

I was thrilled to be able to test out one of these wet/dry bags. The first time I actually used it was when Raileigh was heading off for an evening at the pool with Angela and Uncle Kevin. I filled the dry compartment with plenty of swimmie diapers and some sunscreen. There was plenty of room left for other things I might want to stay dry as well- snacks, cell phone, keys, etc. In the wet compartment, I put Raileigh’s swimsuit and towel. Yes- the generous 13″ x 16″ size was more than adequate to hold her towel as well! It was wonderful to be able to put everything Raileigh needed for the pool into one convenient bag. Plus, the bag has a snap handle that makes carrying it a breeze!

When Raileigh returned home from her trip to the pool, I was pleased to see that the bag had preformed fabulously. The wet towel and swimsuit were sealed away in their own waterproof compartment. The leftover diapers and sunscreen had stayed completely dry in their own compartment. When the bag itself becomes soiled, I can just throw it in the wash with my other clothes because it is machine washable

The wet/dry bag is available many beautiful color combinations. So, male or female, child or adult, I am sure you will find a style that is just right for you! The zippers used on the bags are made to coordinate with whatever fabric you choose. So, not only does this bag preform well, it is stylish, too!

Not only is the wet/ dry bag good for trips to the pool, but it has a lot of other great uses as well! It’s perfect to use for your cloth diapers- clean diapers in the dry side and soiled one in the wet bag. I think it would also be good to use when potty training. I could keep an extra set of clothes and underwear in the dry section, and put any soiled garments in the wet side. It’s also great for going to the gym, for use as a shoe bag, to carry cosmetics in… and the list goes on and on! I am sure that you could come up with a list of uses for this clever bag!

I could not be happier with our wet/dry bag from Planet Wise. I foresee it making many trips to the pool with use in the future! Would you like to try out a wet/dry bag of your very own? I really want to try one of the Planet Wise pail liners in baby blue, because in 4 weeks I’m going to have two kids in diapers. My overall favorite fabric though is Art Deco.

The hanging bag is a neat idea, and I like the art deco print – but I love the taxi print!!
