Wednesday Paper Crafts: Camping Layout #1

So, this week is CAMPING week here at Wee Share! Desi and her family just got back from a fun week full of camping, and I’m here to share some camping projects with you! Today I’m going to be sharing a camping layout that I created.

Picture Sizes:
2 x 3 (2)
2 3/4 x 2 (2)
2 3/4 x 4 (2)
Blue mat background: 7 3/4 x 6 1/4

The background of this layout is a deep green color, with a strip of a patterned paper across the top. I used a edge puncher to create the design on the bottom of the strip of patterned paper. The patterned paper was cut at 5 1/2 x 12.

Cricut Cuts:
“Camping” – I used the Cherry Limeade Lite Cricut Cartridge to cut out the Camping. I did this at 2 inches with tan patterned paper. I then made a shadow with red patterned paper. I used Pop Dots to adhere this to the page.

“2010” – I used the same paper that I used on the Camping, except I cut this at 2 1/2 inches. I used Pop Dots to adhere this to the page.

The Orange Tag – I cut this at 2 inches with my Don Juan Cricut Cartridge, then embossed it with the Polka Dots Cuttlebug folder. I used my crop-o-dile to place an eyelet in the opening of the tag. I used a decorative ribbon that matches my backgrounds to tie on the tag.

I went to my local Archivers and found these adorable chipboard images. I really like these because they were self adhesive! I chose the tree, tent with trees, and the campfire images.

I hope you enjoy this Camping Layout! Technology and I have not been friends this week… so if you come back soon I will have added pictures of Desi’s trip into this layout! 🙂 Check back soon for more!!!

    Cute! you are so creative!
I’d love to see a post sometime on how you organize all your scrapping stuff. I’ve got lots of stuff that I never use b/c it’s so scattered.
    Thanks 🙂
