Review & Giveaway: The Little Looster- CLOSED

2:19 PM Posted by Desi @ Wee Share

We are getting ready to embark on the potty training experience again. I tried back in June, but Raileigh made it very clear to me that she wasn't ready. So, I listened to her, and decided to wait. I have been able to tell that the day we spent attempting to potty train taught her a lot, however. She is more apt to tell me when her diaper needs changing, and she seems more interested in the whole process.

Often times when we potty train, we buy those plastic potties to use. I did because I knew that Raileigh wouldn't be able to reach the actual potty herself. When potty training, the child needs to be able to get onto the potty fast, and not stand struggling to try and get on. During our potty training break, I became familiar with one of the most fantastic pieces of potty training equipment- The Little Looster. This fantastic product makes the big potty available to even the smallest of children.

The Little Looster is a booster for the toilet. It is a step that allows children to easily step up and sit down to go potty. No more struggling to get on! Once seated, the child's legs are not dangling unsupported. The Little Looster serves as a resting place for the feet while the child is going potty. Plus, since the child is supported, they feel more confident. There is no worry of falling in. Children don't have to grip the back or sides of the toilet seat as they try to stay on, so it makes the whole experience cleaner as well.

I was excited to learn about this new creation, and even more thrilled when we were given the opportunity to try it out. Yes, we were taking a potty training break, but I knew that it would be essential to familiarize Raileigh with the Looster before we started again. No explanation needed, Raileigh stepped up and sat down on the potty. She wasn't ready to go then, but she knew what to do. That was incredibly exciting to me. I watched as she sat there, waving her hands around. She truly was completely supported, and her legs were doing all the work. She didn't look scared or afraid at all, which I knew was a big step in the right direction.

With The Little Looster, I am able to teach Raileigh to go on the big potty from the very beginning. Those little plastic potties are no longer necessary! I have a feeling that the Little Looster is going to help make our second attempt at potty training a whole lot more successful.

Sounds great, but won't it get in the way when the adults need to use the restroom? Not at all! The Little Looster serves more as an extension of the toilet. The Looster wraps around the base of your toilet. It sits close enough to the toilet that other potty users will not notice any interference.

This has truly got to be one of the greatest inventions in potty training. It really can revolutionize the way we go about potty training. If you have a little one who is potty training or a child who is about to start, I cannot recommend The Little Looster enough. At $39.99, it is cheaper than a lot of the plastic potties that I have seen, and the benefits are far greater.

Does this sound like a product that you would love to try? I am excited to share with you that The Little Looster has agreed to send one lucky Wee Share reader a Looster of their very own!

What's not to like? It's great that you don't have to move it out of the way for adults. I like the stability the child will feel when using it. My little grandson is afraid he'll fall in and this would make him feel more secure.
