Scrappin’ Thursday – Beach Layout Tutorial

Happy Thursday everyone! Today at Wee Share, I am going to be sharing a beach layout. When I go to the beach, I tend to take a LOT of pictures. Finding a cute way to display my favorites is always a must!

Beach “Smile” Layout

I got all of my patterned paper from my local Archivers store. I really love that store because they have papers that match each other grouped together. It’s really great!

For the picture holders, I cut the red background at 7 x 12. The three picture mats are 4 x 6, and the picture places are where the white paper is. There are two 3×5 and two 2 1/2 x 3 1/2.

I cut this smile out with my Mini Monograms Cartridge. I cut it at 2 1/2 and used a green cardstock and a yellow sparkly cardstock.

Raileigh’s birthday is coming up soon, so in preparation for this event I purchased the Sesame Street Friends cartridge. I don’t have any little ones, so I thought I would be using this cartridge solely for little Raileigh. However, there are REALLY cute “icons” on this cartridge!

So I got these precious starfish from the Sesame Street Friends cartridge. I cut them at 2 1/2 inches. I used a variety of colors for these to give the layout a real big pop of color.

To adhere all of my diecuts onto the page, I used pop dot glue. I just recently started using these kind of pop dots. They are EXTREMELY sticky and get stuck to my fingers, but I love the effect they give to my images!

I hope you’ve enjoyed Scrappin’ Thursday. Tomorrow is Fabulous Friday and I am SO excited about presenting my project! :) Stay tuned!!
