Review & Giveaway: Boon Grass Countertop Drying Rack- CLOSED

I have a toddler, which means we have a zillion small spoons, plates, bowls, and sippy cups with lots of little parts. Most all of the things Raileigh uses to eat and drink get hand washed. We have a dishwasher, but her tiny things like to fall through the cracks in the dishwasher racks. The only issue I have is how to dry her things. Until about a week ago, we were just piling them up the best we could on a towel beside our sink. That works okay for some things, but not really for the sippy straws. Since they are drying on their side, the water really cannot drain out and just sits inside the straw.
I knew that there had to be a better solution to our drying predicament- and that's when I found the Boon Grass Countertop Drying Rack. This is one of the cutest and most stylish kitchen products I have came across. Better yet, it is the absolute greatest thing for drying all those little parts you encounter when feeding a little one- bottle nipples and parts, pacifiers, sippy cup straws, spoons and forks... you get the idea! Since the rack measures 9.5" square, there is adequate room to dry all of the little things you find yourself using daily.
The countertop drying rack is BPA, Phthalate, and PVC-free. Since it is coming in direct contact with things that go in your child's mouth, this is obviously ideal. The overall design of the rack also makes drying much more sanitary than your kitchen towel. The drying rack is actually a two piece system- the grass and the drying tray. The plot of grass has lots of holes in the bottom of it. This allows the water from your wet dishes to drain into the bottom tray. Meanwhile, all your things are drying on the flexible grass blades. Plus, the entire countertop drying rack is dishwasher safe, so it's incredibly easy to clean!
We have thoroughly enjoyed using our Boon Grass to dry all of the things that Raileigh uses to eat and drink. My favorite thing is that I can dry her sippy straws standing straight up, which means there is no leftover water just resting in the straws. The grass blades really do work well to hold everything she uses. She has some spoons with fat handles and some with skinny ones. Since the grass blades really are flexible, I can stick both types of spoons into the grass standing up to dry. Plus, I just love the look of the grass. It's so modern and cute, that it just puts a smile on my face when I walk into the kitchen and see it!
So, you don't have a child, but you like the drying rack? That's great because it's actually ideal for air drying any of the little gadgets you use in the kitchen. Melon ballers, zesters, measuring spoons, silverware, and more will fit comfortably in the blades of grass on the Boon Drying Rack. I already know that once Raileigh has outgrown the toddler feeding items, the grass will remain a fixture on my counter because I love it and there are just so many other ways to use it!
