Today, is Just Because Wednesday. I designed this day so that I could make a regular sized card, for any occasion! It’s still Ladybug week, and today I have created a non-cricut card! I love my Cricut, but it is really nice to get away from it for a day!
I’m going to do the directions to this card a little different today, I’m first going to list all the cuts that need to be made. Then I’ll give a brief description of what I did after I made all the cuts. Enjoy!
– Martha Stewart Dimensional Ladybug Stickers
– S.E.I. Patterned paper
– Recollections Orange Dots paper
– Recollections Orange Small Dots paper
– White Cardstock
– Light yellow metallic cardstock
– White border paper
– Double Sided tape
– Brown Alphabet Stickers
– Round Corner Punch
Cuts that I made (all in inches):
White Cardstock: 5×8
Recollections Orange Small Dots: 5×4
Recollections Orange Dots: 5 x 2 1/2
S.E.I. Patterned paper: 2 x 4 3/4
Light Yellow Metallic Cardstock: 1 1/2 x 4 1/2
Fold the white cardstock in half, this will make your card base. Using your double sided tape, tape the Orange Small Dots paper to the white card base.
Glue your white border paper on the top and the bottom of your card. Then add your ladybug embellishments to the top and the bottom of the card.
Using your round border punch, border punch the right side of the S.E.I. patterned paper, as well as the light yellow metallic cardstock paper.
Center the Orange Dots paper on the card and tape. Then place the S.E.I. patterned paper on the left side of the card, on top of the Orange Dots paper and tape.
Next, place the Light Yellow Cardstock paper on the left side of the card, on top of the S.E.I. patterned paper and tape.
Lastly, take your brown stickers and spell “Thanks” on the light yellow cardstock.
Personalize, and then you’re done! I hope you enjoyed Just Because Wednesday. Tune in tomorrow for Scrappin’ Thursday for a Ladybug scrapbook layout!
