I Celebrated National Mom’s Nite Out with Pizza Hut!

What mom doesn’t love a night out? Whether it is an evening spent with family or time with friend’s, it’s always nice to get out and have a break from the every day routine. Most of my night’s out tend to be with my family. This is my favorite kind of night out because I enjoy nothing more than spending time with my best friend and my beautiful daughter.

National Mom’s Nite out was celebrated on May 6. All across the country, mom’s got out for the evening and enjoyed a break from every day life. Thanks to Pizza Hut, I was able to get in on the action. They sent me a $25 Gift Certificate with clear instructions- Take the Night Off- On Us! They didn’t have to tell me twice! As busy as my life has been lately, I definitely was in need of a night off.

I spent National Mom’s Night Out with my favorite companions- Raileigh and Darren. We headed to our local Pizza Hut, ready to partake in some delicious food. Usually, for pizza night, we order a standard medium pepperoni pizza and an order of breadsticks. However, we decided to branch out a little and order something new to try.

We started with Garlic Parmesan Wings. You can see that I forgot to take a picture before we ate them. That’s because the wings were so incredibly delicious. I wasn’t sure how I was going to like wings from a place primarily known for their pizza. I was pleasantly surprised to find that these were some of the best wings I have ever had. Juicy, tender, and just the right amount of flavor. I took note while we were there that our Pizza Hut offers Wing Wednesdays. Every Wednesday, they offer wings for just 50 cents each. I have no doubt I will be going back in the near future for some more of these delicious wings!

After we had polished off our wings, out came the breadsticks and pizza. We had chosen to order a large stuffed crust pizza, half ultimate pepperoni, half meat lovers. Was it way too much food? Of course! But, we ate until we were stuffed and had plenty left for Darren to snack on for the next few days.

My family had a wonderful time celebrating National Mom’s Night Out with Pizza Hut! I am grateful to Pizza Hut for offering me this opportunity to take a much needed night off. I hope that any of you who celebrated National Mom’s Nite Out had a wonderful time. And, if you didn’t celebrate, why don’t you do it tonight? I think any night would make a great Mom’s Nite Out!
