REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Aveeno Baby Essential Moisture Shampoo- CLOSED

My daughter absolutely loves bath time. I am constantly trying out new bubble bath, wash, and shampoo, as I seek to make bath time the best it can be for her. So, when BzzAgent offered to let me try out the Aveeno Baby Essential Moisture Shampoo, I jumped at the chance.

Aveeno Baby Essential Moisture Shampoo is one of the newest additions to the Aveeno Baby line. Like many of the Aveeno Baby products, this shampoo contains oats. Using oats in personal care items dates back to the Greeks and Romans who took oat bath to heal ailments. This tiny grain has a lot of benefits for your wee one. They relieve dryness, calm itching, soothe irritated skin, and moisturize. That sure is a lot of benefits from a grain!

Let me tell you about Raileigh’s hair. She doesn’t have a ton, but it is certainly growing every day. Her hair is a light blond color. She has tiny curls in the back. The hair on the back of her head is coarse. When she wakes up in the morning, it’s usually a frizzy, puffy mess.

I was very curious to see how this natural shampoo infused with oats was going to do on my little one’s hair. My initial reaction to the shampoo was to it’s smell. It has a very pleasant, very clean scent. Now, Raileigh may like bath time, but she does not one bit like having her hair washed. Often, the shampoo will get in her eyes when I am rinsing, no matter how hard I try to cover them. That is exactly what happened when I used the Aveeno Baby Essential Moisture Shampoo on her hair. However, I noticed that it did not seem to irritate her eyes even close to as much as the other baby shampoo I have been using. That is a huge plus for me.

Once I got Raileigh out of the tub and dried her off, I quickly noticed how soft her hair felt. Seriously, in just 1 use, I could tell that her hair was softer. This extra softness is due to the oats combined with vitamin E that condition while cleaning the hair. Additionally, her little curls were not tangled at all.

Since receiving the Aveeno Baby Essential Moisture Shampoo, I haven’t looked twice at our other baby shampoo. I am just so pleased with how this one is working, that I plan on purchasing it when my bottle runs out.

For softening the hairs, oats combined with vitamin E can be used. I used that for my hairs and this blog is also telling about that. It is very much effective.

This would be for my six month old daughter – she has inherited my (and my mother’s) frizzy, foofy hair and I’d love to try to tame it!

This product interests me because it is for sensitive skin. It would be for my five month old little boy.

I am interested in trying this. Sensative skin is a big problem in my family! I can only use certain things and well once JoHanna is here (march) I am going to have look for something that won’t irritate my skin and hers(if she has sensative skin too)

    Thanks

One of the things about this shampoo that interests me is that there are oats in it. Little E would use it.

I already love Aveeno products, but have never tried their shampoo. I would use this coupon to buy more baby shampoo (if we love the sample) or Aveeno moisturizing lotion if we prefer the Grins & Giggles shampoo we currently use for our 7-month old.

My oldest son constantly has problems with his cheeks getting overdry and they end up so chapped! I would use the Aveeno on him to try to sooth that skin without irritating it!

  8. Amanda says:

I like this because it claims to be gentle and soothing – just what my daughter needs!
Thank you for the giveaway 🙂
